About Us

Saint George was founded on January 25th, 1965 in a small apartment in Piantini. At that time it was named, “Los Angelitos” and the student body consisted of only ten pre-schoolers. It was only once these pre-schoolers reached the age to attend first grade that the decision was taken to continue adding, one grade at a time, through Primary school. Of course by that time the school had moved to a more appropriate location and many new students had joined the community.

Afternoon Program

AFTERNOON PROGRAM
January 16th – May 25th (18 weeks)

Teaches basic programming concepts such as loops and events. Lessons also teach students to collaborate with others meaningfully, investigate different problem-solving techniques, persist in the solution of difficult tasks, and learn about internet safety. At the end, students create their very own customized games to share with others.

RD$16,000.00 per quarter
Minimum participants: 10 students per group

Educational Robotics for Compettitions (ERC)

The Educational Robotics with Lego EV3 course for children from 9 to 14 years old is designed to introduce students to robotics in an accessible and fun way. Students will learn to build and program robots using programming blocks and will have the opportunity to participate in fun, hands-on activities.

FLL: RD$28,000.00 per quarter
Minimum participants: 8 students per group
